Glassdoor is well known for its anonymous employee reviews for their job. According to Expandedrambling, Glassdoor had about 33 million registered users worldwide with 10 million reviews on 600,000 different companies. Recently, Glassdoor released a report of the best 25 jobs. All of them are professional positions and some are managerial levels and most of them are STEM or financial job functions.
Different people have different views of importance at career advancement and salary. In the same time, different regions, companies offer different salary, employee benefit, and working environment. Hence the data may not totally apply to everyone with the same job title. There may be a tax manager with a below average salary and hates his job. But it can provide a general sense of what are these highly rated professional jobs and what are their potential salaries.
Glassdoor’s methodology on this ranking is by looking at reports identifies specific jobs with the highest overall Glassdoor Job Score within the US. Then weighted by the following three factors: earning potential (median annual base salary), career opportunities rating, and the number of job openings.
